Upcycle: Inspiration Board

You'll Need:

Fabric Glue/Tacky Glue
Decorative Fabric Tacks
2 Picture Hangers

Measure the fabric on a flat surface. To do this, lay the fabric face down with the upside-down corkboard on top. Leave about 4 inches of excess on each side to fold back around.

Carefully flip the board and fabric over and smooth out any wrinkles. Be sure to straighten the pattern on the fabric so that it looks symmetrical. This can be done by lining certain points in the fabric pattern to the edge of the board. {see below}

Hammer in the fabric tacks to secure the fabric to the cork.

Once all of the brads have been secured, carefully flip the board back over. Fold the edges and corners of the fabric back tightly and glue with tacky glue.

Once the glue has dried, install two picture hooks to the back of the board in order to hang it.

I love this board. It's feminine, it matches my craft room and it's a great place to keep all of those loose pieces that inspire me.
