4 Days 'Til Christmas!!

We're down to 4 days 'til Christmas and I'm super excited! I tackled the grocery store today and I thought it would be an easy experience...ya know, it's only Wednesday; I went around noon. Wrong! Everyone was there and it was such a mess!!! But I survived and now we are all set to begin cooking tomorrow! Family arrives on Saturday and we are going to have a blast! For this post I'm sharing a yummy and super easy dessert/snack recipe for emergencies. You can always just make this for the holidays but because it's so easy, it's the perfect recipe to whip out if you need something for a party that day.

Pistachio Cranberry Bark
(I borrowed this photo so that you would have an idea)

Ingredients: (There are no measurements...you add however much you want)
Semisweet Chocolate Chips
White Chocolate Chips
Pistachios (Shelled)
Craisins

Chop pistachios in half or quarters. Melt semisweet chocolate chips in a double boiler. Once chocolate is smooth, spread out a 1/8- 1/4 inch think layer onto a pan lined with wax paper. Sprinkle half of pistachios and craisins. Melt white chocolate in a double boiler and DRIZZLE (using a spoon) 3/4 of white chocolate across the semisweet layer. Sprinkle remaining half of pistachios and craisins. Lightly pat to press pistachios and craisins into chocolate and drizzle remaining white chocolate. Refrigerate until solidified and break apart. Be sure to store in a cool place.

**You can alter this recipe if you prefer more white chocolate and less semisweet. You will need the big bag of white chocolate morsels! On a cookie sheet (with 1/2 inch edges all around) pour half of melted white chocolate in pan and sprinkle in pistachios and craisins. Pour remaining white chocolate on top and refrigerate until solid. You bark is now ready to be cut into bars! :)
How easy was that?! Enjoy!!
